The game is simple, you start out with 1,000,000 dollars of fake money. Your goal is to beat the sp500 index.
You can invest in any company you like, and just like a real purchase you will have to pay a fee to the broker.
The awesome part about this site is, you are automatically enrolled into a competition each month. You compete against others and if your portfolio is in the top 1000, you can win real money.
The whole goal of the site is to get feedback from the investors on the stocks they invest in. You basically give an analysis of what you think the stocks are going to do. It doesn't cost anything to join, and it doesn't take much of your time.
The only thing you can lose is the chance to learn how to invest.
